A year after the battle of Waterloo, dispatches from India warn that a local Maharaja is threatening British interests.     Yes, Go Chosen Men

    Bernard Cornwell has a great way of putting a historical novel together with facts and accurate data. But when he writes it with fictional characters it becomes real. The producers of the Sharpe's series of movies caught the same spirit. Even my wife loves these movies.

    Sharpe's

    Bernard Cornwell sharpe's novels have been a fun read and for the most part the movie adaptations have been enjoyable. The only problem I had with this movie was that it was not based on a single book but rather parts of several. Any fan of Sharpe's will spot this right off and wonder what happened to some wonder characters. Over all a decent movie I'm just slightly dissapointed in the screen writer's "mashing" together of Cornwell's stories.
