I can't justify sending it back because it's not defective, but it is just awful compared to all my others. Collecting and rotating them is inexpensive and fun, and usually rewarding, but the Moondrop is a flop. Dull sound, to wit: Very muted highs, flat and non-dynamic midrange performance, and puffy bass. These things are popping up like dandelions, but you can get excellent quality with either a Fiso, Audioengine, or a Fiio for roughly equal money.
