Raw & Powerful!
I am a huge fan of Black Sabbath, Social Distortion, Jane's Addiction & Led Zeppelin, which I feel are all bands w/ something to say. Before I picked up a Stripes CD I never thought I would find a band that I would like more than or as much as Black Sabbath, however, once I heard The Stripes I quickly had a change of heart & they quickly became my favorite bands of all times! The thing I find most appealing about The Stripes is that w/ every song I find myself feeling something different, it isn't just a listening experience for me! For example, one afternoon I was driving in my SUV listening to one of the tracks with heavy hitting drums & loud screaming guitar rifts, I happened to glance in the mirror @ myself & realized my facial expression had completely changed, it was as if every note ... Heart Stopping & Intellectually stimulating!

Edgier, earlier White Stripes
Didn't discover Jack White and The White Stripes until their later albums, and I bought all of them. This was a refreshing earlier version of those talented twosome, and it rocks!. I've been bingeing on it since it arrived, a little edgier than their later efforts, well worth it!
