It is a Makita. That says it all.
It is smaller than my current one, and has three speeds. Super cool. And I love the all black color. Sinister looking. And as far as I know, it will be fairly unique on the job site. Most people that have Makita's are still using blue colored ones. My blue one is still in operable condition after many years of service. Plus I bought brand new 5.0Ah batteries specifically for this new drill too. Will definitely be testing durability and performance in the next few months on the job. Several years ago I had the opportunity using the Makita sub-compact impact & drill set. impact was relativity new to the scene and colleagues argued impact is for hammer drills, not screws or drill bits. Also, gave a thumbs down to battery longevity between charging. today: The same friends and colleagues now own Makita. We all agree stands equally to Hilti. Makita tools are well made
Typical Makita quality they work great, I purchased Makita brand again because I have a Makita impact driver that is at least 10 years old and I have abused it, dropped it from great heights and it is still in one piece and works great. Only time will tell how the brush less motors will hold up so far they are great.
