Intense and very entertaining
This is a must have for watching a character that proves he's not afraid of anything. This guy has balls of steel and is crazy enough to entertain you and capture his essence. A real sleeper that you should have in your film collection. By far, this James Caan's best acting ever. I like him as this character, not as a Sicilian in another film.

A Good Crime Action Movie
This is a pretty good movie. I expected a bit more from it. The older DVD did not have very good definition to it. I am now used to Blu-ray, high def and going back to conventional DVD is not a pleasant experience. The 65 inch screen just enhances the flaws of the video.

Excellent story and action. Very entertaining. Caan does a great job.
If you enjoy bank robber or heist films, this one is for you. A lot of people rave about the film "Heat" with Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro, but personally, I think this film is vastly superior. Heat DID have some great shootout scenes, but, overall, James Caan does an excellent job in this one. The story just feels tighter, more focused and more cohesive, overall. It's on a smaller scale and feels more like an awesome, independent release instead of some crazy, overblown AAA release, with a huge budget and great cast, but doesn't quite deliver. One of my favorite bank robber films is actually Ben Affleck's The Town. It's very modern, but it's excellent. It does what Heat did, but a million times better.
