As wrestlers like to say: "It is what (it says) it is".
I would consider this a must-have for any Undertaker fan. The 3-DVD set is a collection of 21 memorable matches of the Phenom, spanning from 1991 to 2005 and totaling 8 hours and 45 minutes running time, plus half a dozen promo extras on each DVD... So value is unarguably excellent. While not all matches in here I would consider Taker's "best" matches (honestly, watching him beat Vince to a bloody pulp for 15 minutes before getting his own forearm busted open by the end of it isn't my idea of a "good" match. "Memorable", I suppose, but I'd much rather watch him fight off a near-dozen heels come to the aid of a Yokozuna for 10 minutes... But hey, to each their own. ;) ), most are definitely worth watching (and re-watching), be it in terms of athleticism, storytelling, and/or the ... I would consider this a must-have for any Undertaker fan. For an example, who doesn't remember when Undertaker and Paul Bearer locked The Ultimate Warrior inside of a casket for several minutes? But where was that on the DVD? Also, the very first match shown was Undertaker defeating Hogan for the championship but it was a very controversial match. So controversial that President Jack Tunney ordered Undertaker to give Hogan a rematch the following Tuesday at Tuesday In Texas. The outcome of that match was controversial as well, therefore Tunney vacated the championship. But where was the rematch? We have the original match on the DVD and the rematch should've been placed either in the program or on the disc as an extra. Another negative is the mistake WWE Home Video made when they gave the wrong match information during the highlights of Undertaker defeating "Sycho" Sid for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. In the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, they had WrestleMania VIII, Indianapolis, IN, April 5, 1992 and in fact the actual match being shown should've had this information: WrestleMania 13, Chicago, IL, March 23, 1997. Disc Two of the program covers the years 1997 through 1999. This disc features two first-evers; the first-ever Hell In A Cell Match between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels from In Your House: Badd Blood and the first-ever Inferno Match between Undertaker and Kane from Unforgiven. In addition to these two matches you'll see Undertaker compete against Mankind and The Rock as well. Disc Three covers the recent years of Undertaker's career which are the years 1999 through 2004. This disc showcases Undertaker battle "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Triple H, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Mr. McMahon, and Kane. Some of the other negatives I feel the DVD has is the fact that there are no comments from Undertaker regarding any of these matches like most other superstar personality DVDs include. Also, most 3-disc DVDs have holders for all three discs but this one has all three discs in one holder and if they're not pressed down and "locked" in place then they can fall out and move around the DVD case which can produce scratches. In conclusion, there are more positives than negatives and the negatives can definitely be forgotten. This truly is The History of The Undertaker and if you add the feature program plus the extras, you get one darn good DVD.

A Purely AWESOME Collection!
Let me first air my qualms with this collection (there is only one). I would have liked to have heard some comments from the Undertaker himself about the matches and such on this disc; that being said, I can say this is one of the better WWE collections out there. This spans the Undertakers awe inspiring career in the WWE. It has matches from his debut and covers all the way up to just about the present. You'll relive some classic matches and some you've never even seen before. It's three discs, and has a TON of matches! Also, there's interviews from RAW, promos and other such things. All I can say is that Undertaker fans MUST add this to their DVD collection. Any WWE fan should get this just because of the great match selection, great superstarts found on this disc set. There's buried alive matches, casket match hell in a cell, hardcore, title matches, an inferno match! (that's where the ring is surrounded by fire, for those of you who haven't seen it). There's only a couple matches I feel should have been on here, which aren't. The first is his match between the fake Undertaker (now you know where WWE pulled that fake Kane angle from). Anyone who is old enough to remember that, knows that while the match wasn't the greatest, it was a pretty hyped match in the Undertaker's career. Also, where was the Broiler Room Brawl from Summer Slam? I think that was pivotal to Undertaker's career because it was when Paul Bearer betrayed the Undertaker and joined with Mankind. The last one that I just thought of, was the match he was in after the Royal Rumble one year. It was him, Bret Hart, Stone Cold and Vader in a four corners match for the number one contendership for the WWE Championship - another big match. Putting those aside, this is still a great release which any wrestling fan should own!

This is a great collection covering the Undertakers most memorable matches. Best Undertaker DVD if you are a fan of his earlier matches as well as the more recent ones. This covers all the way from his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series and his first WWF Title win vs. Hulk Hogan a year later, all the way through his days feuding with his half brother Kane, to his reign as the leader of the Ministry of Darkness, to his rebirth as the American Badass, to his days a Big Evil and finally ends with his return to the Deadman.
