    Not the book that Don't Squat With Your Spurs On I & II

    Horse Sense is not quite up to par compared to two other favorite Bender books (Don't Squat With Your Spurs On I & II). A few pearls but also a few misses. Illustrations are good featuring a single horse first seen tied to a hitching rail, but who breaks his halter rope and goes on an adventure. Horse sense prevails when he eventually returns to the hitching rail. Still if you are a Bender fan, this should be in your collection.

    Horse Sense

    I bought this book for my father in law who is a real cowboy. I plan to give it as a Christmas gift. I looked through the book and found the western humor very true and I know he will love it.
