I have had this brother printer for many years. The cartridges last a long time. I tried to extend the cartridge life by buying loose toner, but the quality of the print worsened over time. I thought the problem was in the printer itself. I tried this new brother cartridge and it prints just like the day I bought it! The cartridge was new and properly sealed. Would buy it again.

It’s a real Work Horse
The Brother printer is a real workhorse. It gives you a nice cleaned image. I have had this for years and it has never given me any trouble. I wish it would do color. The cartridges last a fair amount of time, for me. When I was a teacher I would use the printer more than I do now.

This is an excellent printer for anyone who prints a lot of black and white documents. If you put a piece of black tape over the little windows on the sides, you can get 1000 pages out of this $30 cartridge, which is 3 cent per page. This is by far the lowest cost per page of any printer on the market, with some HP models running at 20 cents per page and the average ink jet printer at around 13 cents a page.This is an excellent printer for anyone who prints a lot of black and white documents.
