    Acceptable but with short life

    The product was easy to install and works well. It is a little complicated to program. As to the quality I would say it is acceptable. The floor has been installed for ten years and this is the 3rd Thermostat , Seems as if they have a life of 3 or 4 years. Maybe by design ?? I was considering other Manufactures but was unsure of theirs being compatible with the Warm Tiles wiring . Thank You , William Bell

    A Worthy Replacement For An Older Model Controller

    This unit replaced an earlier EasyHeat controller that lasted about 15 years in service. The unit comes with a pair of pre-programmed time/temperature sequences (for 5/2 and 7 day profiles), but the high range temp limit was very warm, so it was lowered. I couldn't find a "manual" temperature setting mode, which was present on the previous unit. The instructions sheet didn't show hook-up instructions for the older "1 conductor plus shield" wiring, but it worked as a drop-in replacement using the same connections as the previous unit. Worked exactly as expected, expect for the lack of manual mode, and the looks are greatly improved!

    Thermostat works fine but not for very long

    I only purchased this thermostat because I know it will work with my floor heating system. My old thermostat, the same model, failed after about five years. That thermostat was a replacement for another Emerson model that failed after about five years. In neither case was Emerson support much help and of course, the warranties had expired.

    Good Replacement

    Good replacement for the previous Warm Tiles Programable thermostat that I installed in 2011 and had stopped working at all no juice. It was pretty much a direct wire replacement. Same box size, etc. It was already programed so I just turned it on and set the time. Worked great. I'm back to having my feet warm again in the morning.
