    Starlin and the New Gods....nuff said.

    There seems to be a trend in Mavel for cosmic stories with a lot of crossover books. They all use intellectual products that were originally created by Jack Kirby and Jim Starlin. Starlin is in the Marvel Hall of Fame given his creation of Thanos, his treatment of Warlord and it could be said his whole infinity series provided the template for all the Marvel cosmic crossover series. Jack Kirby looms as the all time greatest illustrater in comics history and New Gods is just one example of his incredible creativity and ability to write. So, to have Starlin take on that intellectual product is worth investigating.
