  • Homesteading: A Backyars Guide to Growing Your Own Food, Canning, keeping Chickens

This book is a good read but its not what I'd consider a guide as it is titled. The book brings attention to a lot about homesteading but lacks information pertaining to a lot of subjects it covers. For example I wanted to know about chickens and though it touched on the subject it didn't fully cover keeping chickens creating more questions than answers. In my opinion the book more so brings attention to the aspects of homesteading rather than the details of it. The book will direct you on subjects of homesteading but like I have found you'll have to seek more information to the pertaining subject to know what you will need to know to have the knowledge.
