This foot switch helps narrow down the 99 plus presets and personal settings you want to use to a organized practical and powerful tool for creative expression live or in the studio in real time. The Gateway app is great to experiment with but not practical for switching effects and presets while playing. Setting up the foot switch can be a little confusing at first but once you experiment a bit and put the short but practical manual to use it becomes simple and clear how valuable this tool is to your code amp. Their is the basic switching of presets which work great. But their is also layers of selecting effects for your presets that I'm still discovering. Well worth the extra money to have the convenience of switching presets on the fly while playing vs scrolling through 99 selections by ... I was happy to get the pedal for my Code 50 and works great, with a caveat.. so far as I can tell it doesn't give you access to all ofthe presets.. I will research it some more, but so far that is my experience...

lightweight, sturdy, compact, no separate power supply needed, uses a regular guitar cable to connect to the amp, can be programmed to control many functions - only things I can think of to add would be an expression pedal input and the ability to sync with other gear through midi ..
