PJ Harvey had a Great Story to Tell here
10/12 of the songs on this CD warranted loading onto my IPOD, which has limited space. For that I give her a '5', and I'm a picky reviewer. I loved her compilation with Thom Yorke, and other songs are just as strong. PJ's music compares to Patti Smith's but at a higher level of sophistication. Her melodies are complex and her lyrics are thought-provoking. As a vocalist, she has great range. An all-around great singer/songwriter who needs to be paid more respect. If you've never gave her a chance, this is the CD for a starter. Note to PJ: How about a tour to the midwest (St. Louis)?
