Ignore the 1 star review, classic case of PEBCAK
It's clear to see from the pictures that it's a low profile bracket and the buyer should have taken note of that. You can't 1 star because you didn't bother to double-check the card size. Also in a pinch one can take the bracket off entirely, and with a bit of care it will get the capture done even if the card technically doesn't fit. Don't recommend for continuous use though, because accidentally pulling on the cable may yank the card out of its slot. I own two cards and I'm happy with them. H727 original and C027 variant. I use them mostly for 1080i YPbPr capture using PotPlayer (because it does 2x motion-adaptive deinterlacing and saving directly into MP4 H264) Pros: -Cheap. -Just works. -Recognized by OBS + webcam plugin -Pretty much the only game in town for analog 1080i video ... Cons: -Flimsy adapter cables (handle with care). -Included soft is a dumpster fire, no deinterlacing settings (you lose half of your vertical resolution and half of your framerate), use PotPlayer instead. -To and from HDMI needs to be switched in advance in the Avermedia capture program and the capture device namings are beyond confusing ("secondary" handles HD sizes, the other one for SD sizes). -Annoying for damaged VHS or Video8 tapes, because garbled analog signal will be replaced by the Avermedia logo, this "feature" can't be turned off. Use an older card that ignores signal quality instead. -Doesn't do 1080p (720p HDMI capture works though) Overall, do recommend, as long as you know what you need it for.
