Four classic Hasbro board games can be played on the go with this DS compilation from Atari, which features wireless support for up to four players. Boggle, Battleship, Monopoly, and Yahtzee are included in the classics compendium, each offering the same rules and play styles as the original games. Boggle has players quickly forming words from 16 letters arranged in a 4x4 grid. Both the hourglass timer and the letter tray appear on the touch screen, with the stylus used for assembling words. The top screen depicts a list of accepted entries as players try to create as many words as possible before time expires. <br><br>Battleship involves placing five ships within a 10x10 grid and trying to sink an opponent's vessels by firing at specific coordinates. The grid is displayed on the touch screen, allowing players to simply tap a square to fire, with the results depicted in the top screen. Players can challenge the computer or a friend, and alter the action with multiple themes. Yahtzee also includes an assortment of themes to shake up the classic dice game, which has players tapping the screen to select the dice needed to build their poker-style hand. Monopoly features a 3D game board and animated pieces on the top screen with a close-up view of properties and spaces on the lower screen. Players will be able to customize various rules and settings before challenging up to three computer opponents or friends.

I love all these games, and I love the fact that you can play multiple players wirelessly. I don't love how touchy the game is, especially boggle and battleship. It's not such a big deal on battleship, but it's really annoying on boggle. You have to be really careful how you touch the letters, but you're trying to hit them as fast as possible. Not a good combo. The game will all of a sudden add on a letter you didn't want and then it's points off from your score. Also, some pretty common words are left out, like "tent" and "man", while some pretty uncommon words are recognized. For those reasons right there, I gave this game a good rating instead of excellent. I would have also liked to have seen multiplayer action on one cartridge, ... Lots of Games....Fun DS Lite Game
Nice little selection of games for DS Lite. I take it along on trips for mindless time passing. I'm not a serious gamer and these type of games are great fun for me. I guess the "SERIOUS" gamers would find this totally boring, but it's a lot of fun for us generations who are just interested in PLAYING A GAME...not annihilating the world!

This is an awesome FAMILY friendly game! Just good old fashion fun. Which you don't find much anymore. I actually have 2 copies! That way both kids can play against each other on there own game system (eliminates sharing). Even my husband and I will wait in line for a chance to play. A must have for any DS owner. You can actually play boggle and battleship without 2 game cards, but the other 2 you must have 2 games to play wireless. Many different ways to customize your game boards even! 5 STAR GameThis is an awesome FAMILY friendly game! Just good old fashion fun. Which you don't find much anymore. I actually have 2 copies! This game is AWESOME
This game is a total blast from the past, with a twist. Graphics are unique. Playing yahtzee has never been more fun. And didn't you wish when playing monopoly as a kid you could kick it up a notch? Well now you can. And blowing up your opponent in battleship is is a BLAST too. Also Boggle has never been easier to play. No more chicken scratch writing. Just simple fas fun. Great game I reccoment it for EVERYONE. Rated E for "EXCELLENT" :):):)This game is a total blast from the past, with a twist. Graphics are unique. Playing yahtzee has never been more fun.
