    Good product that does the job well.

    This nailer/stapler worked great on my small (140 sq. ft.) job. No jams or other problems. The only flooring nailer I had used previously was of the manual type, so this one was much easier. One recommendation I would offer to all manufacturers of these tools is to work on ways to make them smaller. Still have to start too far away from a wall and stop using the nailer too far from the opposite wall and change to hand and then face nailing.

    Ok, but

    Good stapler. The pad Is shaped oddly and it is really easy to think you’re nailing the flooring in the correct spot and bang, put a staple right in the face of the flooring. I found it hard to get speed due to this where other staplers you know exactly where you’re shooting a staple. Other than that, which is a big deal, the stapler works well.

    Husky HDUFFL50 Cleat Nailer

    I used this nailer to install about 200 sq ft of 3/4 in solid oak pre-finished 2 1/4 in boards using 2" L-cleats. It worked great. Just make sure the alan screws holding the foot are tight - otherwise it will start to move up and you can easily shoot a nail through the top of the board instead of the tongue. I ran mine using a cheap 2.5 gal air compressor and it had plenty of power. I bought a 'refurbished' nailer and although it had signs of previous use, it worked flawlessly.

    I would highly recommend!

    Just laid 400sq feet of Hickory Hardwood flooring with it. No jams or nails in the wrong spots. Also give the trigger a good whack with the mallet, you don't have to try to kill it, but needs a solid hit. Just make sure to add a drop or two of oil in it everyday you use it (as with most pneumatic tools). Pros: Lightweight Mallet has good weight to it Comes with two plates for different floor heights. Cons: None about the tool, could come with a case for storage.

    Good Deal

    I used this very effectively to install African mahogany t&g 1x4 onto a covered porch floor. I was impressed with the quality right out of the box. Everything appeared to be new. Went to the Depot for nails, plugged it in to my homeowner type compressor and it works great. For basically the price of a rental I now own a quality flooring nailer. Win/win!
