    Look for a better solution

    The instructions were in such small print that I had to use a magnifying glass to read them. After getting it setup in repeater mode, I could connect to the internet through it, but it's speed was slower than connecting directly through the modem, so it was no improvement at all.

    Really good wifi extender

    Very quality product from TP-Link to get wifi at weak spots in your home. Replaced our 5 year old Netgear WiFi extender. Our netgear extender was so obsolete that there was no app available to manage it but it had served us well over the years and decided it was time to upgrade it as the signal was becoming choppy and it couldn’t handle the number of devices when having company over. It was super easy to install and they were right! I followed the instructions included but had already read previous reviews with tips and tricks. I just plugged it in next to the router, let it do its thing and downloaded the app which is super simple to use and navigate. Typed in my password to connect to the network and off I went!     Not far enough

    This item must be plugged directly into a router when it needs to be in another part of the house where the signal is weak.
