I would recomend this book to anybody who collects guitar history books
This book was a rare find & it was a bargain , considering the fact that it is a hard cover edition , showing no wear . The book was nicely divided into sections that dealt with different time periods , as well as by model types , with plenty of pictures & useful amounts of information . I will have to watch for more books by Mr. Carter , the book is well laid out & researched , a welcome addition to my collection .This book was a rare find & it was a bargain , considering the fact that it is a hard cover edition , showing no wear . The book was nicely divided into sections that dealt with different time periods , as well as by model types , with plenty of pictures & useful amounts of information . This is an awesome book! My husband has been playing Gibson Guitars for almost 40 years. This book gives the beginning of the guitar and all that went in to my a Gibson what it is today! A must for the guitar player or music lover.
