Perfect for a love/relationship festival. Listen again.
Dido is reminiscent of the vocals of Sinead O'Connor but on this CD she sings of love, relationships and lust. Her vocals are as ethereal as O’Connor’s while the subject matter on this CD is so much more pleasant and easy to listen to without the heady, contemplative, political lyric scrutiny that often is demanded by Sinead's work. Not to be misunderstood, with this CD you can melt into the music and relish the listening. Very nice musical arrangement. This is an "easy-listening" music cd. Is it me or am I'm crazy? This lady sounds soooooooooo much like Sade that when I first heard "Thank You" on the radio that I tried in vain to find this cd by "Sade"--and Miss Sade is as smooth as I've heard in years! Sade is like liquid silk, and Dido is not very far behind. Sounds like there's something pulling on one of vocal cords to give her that unique vocal sound she has. Oneof my top ten fave cd's!! Great for romance,soulful!
This album is fan-freakin-tastic!! I looooove her voice, and her musical writing. Also, she is great at hitting the nail on the head about different situations; soulmate love, heartbreak, giving your body unselfishly to another peson, all those things. She can be simple, cute in one song, then belt out her eternal love in another. She kicks ass!!!!!!

No Angel but well worth listening to
The harmonious way that the lyrics play out with each song tells a story. Some are soft while others take a more upbeat approach in order to convey the idea of the song. The title track tells of how a person is not perfect but that is no for them not to try to achieve their goals. Often I found myself listening to it at work. It is very soothing to the mind and soul.

Dido - No Angel
I don't like all of her songs, and some of them take some getting use to before I do, but the ones I do like are excellent! Dido is one classy lady and I think her music will be around long after all these 'fifteen minute of fame fluffbunnys' are gone and forgotten. Rock on Dido!
