    Fantastic Nature Series - Even Better on DVD

    This is one of the best nature / science / botany T.V. series I've seen. David Attenborough's films are always excellent. I had seen the old now out of print VHS version of The Private Life of Plants on six cassettes. The DVD version has not been reissued here in the USA. I loved this title so much that I had to buy a UK Region 2 PAL DVD and "hack" into the firmware of my second DVD player so I can play it. This title is excellent for high school Biology teachers to teach many elements of Ecology and Plant Pollination, Anatomy and Physiology, and the relationships between Plants and Insects and other Animals. I did some student teaching (teacher training) using VHS cassettes of this series for lessons. The close-up and time-lapse photography is incredible. This DVD set really gets ...
