This is a review the first DVD "Against All Odds" only. With the roster they have TNA should be putting on better matches (I feel like I say this a lot) this was a small step up from "Genesis" but not by much. Robbie E became the #1 contender to the X-Division title since Generation Me were left stranded because of bad weather, Kazarian the champ decided to give Robbie his shot right here, right now.... and it was a little disappointing. Scott Steiner teamed with Beer Money to face an Immortals team of Gunner, Murphy and Rob Terry. I enjoyed this match a lot more than I should have. Next up was Samoa Joe Vs The Pope, man, what happened to these guys, they used to be so good, maybe this was a one off bad match, eh? Mickie James challenged Madison Rayne in a "Last Knockout Standing" match ... This is a review the first DVD "Against All Odds" only. Followed by Matt Hardy and RVD having a shockingly good match, (the best of their trilogy of matches at least) followed by a street fight featuring Bully Ray and Devon which was pretty bland, but the post match angle was very well done. The Semi main event was Kurt Angle Vs Jeff Jarrett, which as per usual with these two was really good and was easily the match of the night (please ignore the stupid stipulations though) and finally Mr Anderson defended the world title against Jeff Hardy in a ladder match which was perfectly fine, but to be honest I am jaded with ladder matches, after watching fast paced "Money In The Bank" matches, this one seemed very slow and plodding. The second DVD in this pack is Victory Road, which has been labeled one of the worst PPVs of all time... I need time to prepare myself to watch that one methinks....
