Bang for your buck, tons of options, will do almost anything with enough patience, not for the guy that doesn't like to tinker with his stuff.

This is a powerhouse of a Guitar processor. Lots of bang for your buck with this unit. It is a small unit so to do all the stuff it will do you need to download the Boss Tone Software to be able to edit it and take full advantage of the unit. It would take a great deal more time to edit a patch without the software. The pickup adds an level to playing guitar but it also adds a whole new level of way to screw up. If you are a guy that likes one big knob to turn and everything on ten. This is not for you. It is easy to forget about the pickup and when everything sounds weird later find out you pushed something wrong on the pickup. There are a lot of ways to screw up. Just because it makes 1000 sounds does not mean they are usable. You will stay busy tweaking instead of playing guitar. When ...

  • Versatile product with some interesting features

The gp10 is the forgotten product. It does gtr modeling like a variax. The variax has the advantage of being on the guitar so you can switch models and variants and tone on the fly. However the gp10 adds a few bass models and a few simple synths. Even without the GK pickup any gtr will access the fairly robust effects. You can use boss tone factory to change patches and routing of efx with some flexibility using the control pedals. I love that you can set the pedal to default to volume. With a GK pickup you can blend or separate your gtr with the modeling (synth plus gtr, or a sitar with your electric) . HERE IS THE SECRET: it also acts as an audio interface for your gtr and the modeling. ALSO, it can drive soft synths on your Daw. So with one USB and gtr with a GK pickup you get effects ...

  • Creative worlf for all your musical fantasies

Simply put, with this gear you can play on endless number of vst-presets. And there A LOT of them. It's an actual universe of sound, because universe is endless as we know it. Installing the GK-3 pickup and mounting the controller is not a super-easy or user-friendly process, but you can manage it. It takes some time and accuracy, so don't do it in a rush, prepare and check everything beforehand. AND DO EVERYTHING BY THE MANUAL YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The unit itself, which is BOSS GP-10, is made in a same rough heavy-duty style as previous megahits like GT-6, 8 and 10. It's a reliable solid steel box with all ther connectors bolted securely and tightly. You won't hesitate to just throw it in your gear bag, and you won't be wrong ))) The rest is up to you, guitarheads.

  • Game changer!

No way you can find a better unit at this price point. So many options so much fun. There's to much good to say about this unit. I teach guitar and have played for 47 years, I've never felt better about a processor purchase than this one. Take the time to learn it and you'll never look back!!

  • Boss GP-10GK

Great sounds and tones with or without the 13 pin GK connector. I've been a Boss/Roland user for 35yrs. and I'm never disappointed. This GP-8 processor has much better guitar and amp modeling than the older Boss processors, including the Roland GR-55 which has exceptional modeling. the one downfall I have with it is that it doesn't have 5 pin MIDI capability to connect to my other processors; It only has USB which is good for connecting to a PC/DAW etc. That said, it's performance has been flawless.
