Imaginerum by Mightwish
This IMO is the best album from the greatest rock band in the world. While neither of Nightwish's great singers appears on this album the songwriting is fantastic - Tuomas Holopainen is one of the best all time writers and this collection of songs is unbelieveable. "I want my tears back" takes to you Ireland and "Slow love slow" takes you to a smoky 30s cabaret. "Turn loose the mermaids" is a beautiful ballad as is "The Crow, the Owl and the Dove". "Storytime", "Last ride of the day" and "Rest Calm" are all very good songs as well. As you should be able to tell by now, I like just about every song on this album. If you know about Nightwish, you probably already own a copy of this album. If not, start here and then go buy the rest. I only rate about 2% of albums as 5 stars - I'd give this ... One of my favorite pieces to my imaginaerum collection
First i will say the cd itself is the best Nightwish has to date. But this hard book edition is beautiful to say the least. Its not like all the other digi packs its like opening up a hard cover book and the booklet is awesome thick shinny photo paper and the poster great quality .It rivals the tour edition cd. This is diffenitly one you have to buy for your collection !!!.... I have three myself.First i will say the cd itself is the best Nightwish has to date.
