Tremors 3: Back To Perfection (2001) Michael Gross
Five years after the last installment of the Tremors films, the producers yet manage to pull off another success making Tremors a trilogy. By then Tremors was starting a franchise. Managing to get vertually everyone back from the first film, (minus Fed Ward and Kevin Bacon), Tremors 3: Back To Perfection takes you on another adventure that is worth the ride. Now that Burt Gummer has returned home to Perfection, Nevada, he's expecting to have a peaceful welcome home. However the town has grown slightly with a new character in town,(Shawn Christian) who wants to make money off the legendary creatures by twisting the legend to his liking. With the return of Burt, just as well ... Five years after the last installment of the Tremors films, the producers yet manage to pull off another success making Tremors a trilogy. By then Tremors was starting a franchise. Managing to get vertually everyone back from the first film, (minus Fed Ward and Kevin Bacon), Tremors 3: Back To Perfection takes you on another adventure that is worth the ride. Unbelievably bad
This has to rank as one of the worst movies of all time. The creatures evolve into something like buzzards and take off by setting their farts on fire. The film budget must have been in the hundreds of dollars. The special effects are laughable . I swear you can see the creatures hanging from strings as they circle overhead. The only redeeming feature is the sidekick from Tremors 2 is gone, but only to be replaced by one just as goofy. The cover art should be a tipoff that there was little thought put in this movie as the worms (graboids) have never had teeth. I would not watch this movie again if I were paid to do so. On a more positive note Tremors 4 is actually quite good.This has to rank as one of the worst movies of all time. Love these movies!
I personally think these are hilarious 'horror movies.' Love the characters. I had only seen the first one and part of the second. I've been wanting to see the rest for a long time. I still have to see the fifth one, and will be sure to catch it sometime in the future! They're classic!
