    Great high capacity ice maker

    My wife wanted a new refrigerator and has always purchased refrigerators with an ice maker in the freezer department. The new refrigerator that she chose did not come with an icemaker, but it was an add on. Since ice makers in freezers usually don't last long and take up a lot of space, we chose to get a counter top portable ice maker. We chose the Magic Chef because it makes ice in as little as 7 minutes and can make 27 lbs. in a day. The magic chef is about the same cost as an icemaker in a freezer, takes up very little space, makes ice quicker, and is very lightweight. Upon receiving the Magic Chef and pouring water in it, we had ice about 7 minutes later. This was a great buy, my wife is very happy.

    Awesome Ice maker!!

    We purchased this ice maker because we got tired of buying ice every few days. This ice maker makes great tasting ice and it makes it in no time. The only down fall is that it doesn't hold all the made ice, you have to empty it, so it keeps making ice. We got a plastic container to put the excess ice in the freezer, problem solved. It's a must have for family gatherings /parties.
