    A lot for a little.

    Has evidence of use but seems to work fine. First used it for bread dough as a test and it got a B+. Also came with 2 bowls and the three mixing attachments. Price was reasonable.

    Hobart does KitchenAid right

    I’ve had a mixer just like this since 1987. It is a powerhouse workhorse. The newer models are made more cheaply and do not have the Hobart engines. I tried a newer one recently and it sounded terribly cheap when I ran it. So I bought an older model just like mine for my son, who is quite the chef. It may not look as good as the newer models n various colors, but I guarantee it will run better and last forever.

    Indispensable use, classic design

    I had to get a stand mixer because I have a hand condition that is made worse by holding a hand-held one. I'd owned one of these before (an old one I found in the trash, believe it to not) but didn't really have room for it and usually found myself using a hand-held mixer. So I sold it. I'm so pleased to have found a great deal for a new one here. Its making my life so much easier and is fabulously useful for my small home baking business.

    Older is better
