Description not entirely accurate - handwriting in ballpoint pen on back of jacket not disclosed (!), price sticker residue on front, two split seams inside ("Inner sleeves are in very good plus condition with no seam splits"), catalog info "visible" but not "on spine", and more. Also, it took four days to ship (and two weeks to arrive). Still, the seller is a good one and the packing job was beyond excellent!

NOT TRUE! Photos clearly show catalog information on spine in first picture. Residue from price tag is consistent with a vg + grade. It took three days to ship within time frame from when he paid and when payment showed processed. Additionally, I do not own the US postal service and do not have control over weather delays, so I cannot answer for why it two weeks to travel from California to New York. But Hey, He liked my packing.

    Good homeowner drill/driver

    My last one just died after about 3 years and good use. I finished my basement with it and a bunch of other products. My best guess is that the gears stripped on it because the motor still works, but the chuck doesn't turn. If I were a professional who used a drill/driver constantly, I'd look to a better brand, but for my use, Ryobi hits the price/quality point for me. I also really like that they make so many different tools for the same batteries.

    Its OK

    CONS: * The clutch doesnt seem accurate - you cant use it on small screws and thin materials. Too much clutch numbers giving you more trial and error before you can master placing screws on various materials. * A Belt Clip would be very very useful * I smell the air coming from its vent seems a little burnt, but no problem i guess. Common most likely on all carbon brush drills. * LED light SHOULD come ON with light tap and stay for a few seconds after. It lights on when it begins to rotate. Not so great. PROS: * Strong and powerful. I upgraded from my 2003 Black and Decker and I noticed big difference. * The 2 speed is big reason i upgraded A little heavy but i should have bought the one with hammer drill. Small difference in price.

    why I like RYOBI standard 18v battery tools.

    I am rebuilding my house. It is made of heart pine from 1860-1880. My last ryobie drill lasted 3 yeasrs of almost daily use. The wood is extreemly hard but the drill held up well. It drilled as well and sometimes better than my 18 v craftsman professional series drill. I love the standard battery mount so I can get a battery and just plug it in and go no matter which cordless ryobie I use. I use to tape the ryobie battery into my crasftmaan drill. The standaard battery is what makes the system. I like this drill it has a variable speed trigger which my old ryobie did not have. This adds to the ability to install screws. I also like how this drill is 1" shorter than my old one. The studs are 16" center to center. The extra inch has already helped in screwing inbetween the studs and fitting ...

    Improved

    The light is in a great location on the battery interface base. Ryobi drills are getting more compact all the time. I am a professional handyman and use it daily. The old Ryobi i had burnt out using it to turn the sausage stuffer. Under reasonable loads it gets the job done well. The number of tool options is why I stick with Ryobi. 5 stars once they make the head 2 inches shorter like the higher priced tools.

    Ryobi Drill

    Looks great and works fine. There is a little clicking noise when using in forward position in #1 speed but it doesn't seem to effect the product. hopefully its nothing bad. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.
