Most frustrating install
So frustrating I gave up. Absolutely horrendous to try to install. One piece pops out- push it in the other pops out. And that's just to see if it fits! Omg trying to place it to just MARK where to put the screws was the most frustrating thing I've dealt with in a looong time. And I'm pretty handy with that stuff.

This is probably one of the best ideas I have ever seen for bringing spices into full view from a dark cabinet - I was having to use a flashlight to find what I was looking for previously. It was fairly easy to install once I figured out how to do it - the instructions that came with it from the manufacturer weren't helpful at all as they seemed to be for a different model or just totally wrong. I finally figured it out just by looking at the picture. And the instructions needed to be more specific as to how much clearance needed to be allowed at the cabinet door. What a find!
When we did our kitchen over, I'd hoped to figure out a way to organize spices so that I didn't knock them over when pulling out the one I needed. My homemade tiers didn't work--I figured there had to be something out there--people DO still use spices, right? My search actually started for spice jars. I thought if they were all the same size, maybe I'd be inspired to come up with a plan to display them and still have quick access. Spice jars are "expensive" even in bulk. Plus, they take up a lot of room themselves. When I saw the pictures of these racks, I knew I'd found what I was looking for. I ordered them immediately, then began my jar search in earnest. I had so many spices, finding a jar that would utilize the dimenstions of these shelves was going to be tough--at any price. I ... I happened to be in Dollar Tree and I saw these little "juice boxes" two for a dollar. You can see in the stock picture of the rack that 5 "normal size" bottles fit on each row--that's a little wider than 2" square. These juice boxes are 2" x 3"--the exact dimension that would fit 6. A shaker top is nice but most spices are measured for recipes. These juice boxes have a straw (I tossed the interior straw) that will dispense some fine powders by squeezing, but the tops screw off to allow for measuring spoon use. These racks are super-heavy/sturdy. The fold-down option is absolutely perfect for a busy cook. When I finished this project, I immediately took pix to send to friends--I was really surprised when a lot of people said they don't buy spices...? Well, I sure do---and here are a couple of pictures of my to-die-for spice racks. So affordable--I'm still in the walk-by-and-look stage of fulfilling this need. Take a look!
