    YAMAHA MX-1000u BEAST!

    Excellent/clean sound quality delivery... One of the best amps ever produced in the 80's, especially at it's price-point; zero contenders. Still competes and bests modern amps of today. Amp was received in a very well packaged box! Amp was extremely clean and in 9.5 out of 10 stars condition; minute scratches on top cover, small bend lower-left front plate lip. These are almost unnoticeable and easy fixes. Amp powered up perfectly fine and sounds AWESOME!!! Only issue discovered, right channel display meter works for first 3-5 minutes when first powered on, then stops? Will require some t/shooting; may have been dropped during shipment. The meter assemblies on these amps are sensitive/delicate. In any event, I am thrilled with my purchase! I owned an MX-800 back in the late 80's ...

    A prized possession.

    I have one I bought new over 30 years ago another I bought about 10 years ago on eBay that's older than my first one. These things can't be beat and they'll probably be making someone happy long after I'm long gone.
