Josh is flawless in concert
I bought this for my sister-in-law(I have one as well) as we are great fans of Josh Groban and have all of his other compilations. This concert is not a concert that he performed on tour, rather one that was put together for PBS. Josh sings flawlessly, as he usually does when singing live. The bonus extras on the dvd are not that fabulous, but they are not the reason why you buy the DVD anyway. The CD has the song "O Holy Night" , which as far as I know is not offered on any other CD. I must say I do love this DVD/CD combo, but I like the "Live at the Greek" one better. You have to remember this concert features a younger Josh that is very shy and doesn't interact with his audience and band as much as he does now. If you've never heard Josh Groban, go out and buy ANY of his music; he'll surely win you over. But for those who have heard Groban and already like him, this is one you MUST own. Most artists' concert CDs contain only music that appears on their albums. This one has two songs not available on any other of Groban's CDs (or DVDs). First, Groban sings "O Holy Night" (on the CD only). This is, of course, one of the greatest songs ever, and Groban sings it BETTER than anyone. You'll want to listen to this rendition all year round. That's reason enough to own this. Second, the DVD and CD both contain the song "For Always." This is a John Williams song (yes, the "movie music" guy, who wrote the scores for Star Wars, E.T., Superman, etc. - and Williams appears and conducts the song on the ... If there was a rating above excellent Josh Groban would definitely deserve it! Josh has the voice of an angel. So pure, so beautiful! He is the most talented male singer i have ever heard! I have watched his DVD several times and Josh's singing still gives me goosebumps! Would highly recommend this DVD and Josh's CD's!!
