    History as never before...and everyone dies.

    If you like Mr. Bean, chances are you will not like Black Adder. It is, however, Rowen Atkinson at his best. And seeing Hugh Laurie before he became Dr. House is a bonus. Full of great dialog, smart gags and "So Clever You Could Put Ears And A Tail On Them And Call Them Foxes". Great fun and history as you where not taught in school.

    Rowan Atkinson's super funny sitcom

    This show has a really clever premise, and many great supporting actors add to the comedy. Unlike any other show, you'll want to see all 4 time periods (6 shows per each era plus some specials.) Blackadder gets smarter while the Baldric genes seem to weaken with each new generation.

    BLACK ADDER, OH YEAH

    Once upon a time, I had 3 of the 4 series (Black Adder Goes Fourth, I did not get). Jolly great fun, plenty of laughs. I'm planning on having a marathon session soon. Where's Roderick?!!

    Blackadder! Blackadder!

    Excellence in British comedy. Rowan Atkinson's acid tongue, Fry and Laurie, francophobia, Miranda Richardson (Rita Skeeter in the Harry Potter movies), the dog's body Baldrick and nothing - especially the church - is sacred! If you're not familiar with Britcoms, this is a great place to start.
