      Changing out drain solenoid.

      With a small adjustment to the steel bracket it worked perfectly on my 30 year plus Magic Chef dishwasher. I welded on an ear to pick up one additional screw. The solenoid is exactly the same as the old one. I carried out the repair with the unit in position, a little awkward but doable. The springs and white plastic piece are the same as the old. No specialty tools required. Remember to disconnect the power beforehand.

      Drain Solenoid Fix.

      Works as suppose to and fixed problem with draining washer. Simple fix for any one least handy with tools. Videos on YouTube go to unnessary dismantle of machine to access part. Use common sense and save yourself a Lot of work.
