It can handle 2.5 lb (5Cups) flour for bread dough, 3.5 lb for cookie dough. Can chop or puree meat, poultry, fruit, veg. Even nuts for nut butters (3 Cups max). Seller had over-packaged the original Cuisinart box to protect it. Seller worked with me to provide a work-around for my mistake in the shipping address. I'm very happy with the item and the seller.
