I needed to tape over the SMBus PCIe pins to get my PC to boot, it didn't accept my Dell coded SFP+ DAC until I ran the xl710-unlocker (Maybe it wanted Intel coded?), it also wouldn't connect until I forced 10GB link speed from my router instead of autonegotiate. After that it's been running stable and power efficient without fuss, great value, just be aware that it might not be plug and play.

Recommend Seller A+++ Cards appear to be unlocked (for SFP). If PC fails to boot past POST with card installed, install Polymide High Temp tape across PINS B5 and B6, to block SM Bus that is causing this issue. PC will then boot and work great with these cards !
