    A different kind of horror

    This is a great psychological horror game for anyone new to the genre or not. The story is heartbreaking, the levels are twisted, and the music is fantastic. Overall Silent Hill 2 portrays a different kind of horror, something that extends a lot deeper than the scary moments is games like Resident Evil. This game is quite literally a more introspective journey.

    Greatest Hits is Best SH2 Version

    The Greatest Hits version was worth the money, especially with its extra content and additional graphics & lighting. Make sure to get this copy instead of the black labeled version of Silent Hill 2. Always make sure to research before buying! Otherthan the Greatest Hits, the game has always been the best one out of the Silent Hill franchise. It's weird going back to 360p resolution graphics compared to HD Collection, but it's something to get used as a retro gamer. Gameplay plays very well, once you get used to the controls, but does feel less of a survival horror compared to Resident Evil. Thankfully there's a difficulty mode for this game that makes it challenging for Silent Hill fans.
