      A outstanding and unique mystery show. Mystery buffs will enjoy the touch of humor in the clever plots.

      It's a shame this mystery series didn't last longer; it's one of the best detective shows I've ever seen on TV. The stars are outstanding and the characters unique. The mysteries are clever and well written. I highly recommend it to mystery buffs.

      A good light hearted murder mystery entertainment.

      Nicely boxed DVD set and packaged very well. However, the DVDs somehow were not organized properly in the package in the order of the seasons so it required some re-organizing in the package. The video quality is not great. This is NOT digitally remastered. The resolution is the same as you got from a VHS tape playing on your old 90's Sony Trinitron TV. If you're watching it on a plasma or LCD flat screen it will not look as good as other programs in the quality that you're now accustomed to. A nice feature of the video is that it includes the option to show captions for the hearing impaired which some videos of older TV shows don't include.

      The DVD collection is packed in a nice case with episodes clearly listed on each disc and on the back cover. They play just as they were on TV, very clear picture and quality sound. A must have for your collection!

      Like Old Wine - it seems the old TV shows are better than the new ones.

      Good entertainment with no gore, vulgarity nor rudeness. Because it was made in an age of grace and good manners, it is still great! What has happened to our programs? When I watch even the old comedies, I wonder what happened to our sense of humor? It' has reached the height of rudeness. It seems a "put down" is the only humor people have to sell these days. Father Dowling has great humor, a good plot and loveable characters.
