      Well Satisfied in My R3

      tthis unit is replacing one that is four years old and has have screen problems from the beginning. Uniden wanted approximatel $90 to replace the screen for the 2nd time and that did not make me happy. Took a risk in going back to Uniden and paying more for a new unit but the distance and reliability of its detection features are great so I took the chance and ordered a new unit. No problems like my old unit with this new R3. It has Great performance like my new one, the GPS works great and the screen is bright, clear and readible. Happy with the amount paid.

      Best Radar Detector

      This has gotten me out of many many speeding tickets. Super long range alerts you way in advance giving you plenty of time to slow down. Most police departments use the KA band and a few use laser. This picks off all of them. The K band (Blinking road signs) is a little annoying sometimes, but there is a mute button to silence that for about a minute. We have 6 of these for each family members car. Lots of action zero tickets. If you have a lead foot like me then buy this!! A speeding ticket will cost you more.
