Multiple inputs allow recording of a number of tracks simultaneously and with zero latency monitoring. This hardware can handle multiple input and output formats all with 24-bit, 96 kHz fidelity. This gives you everything you need to create professional music tracks. If you need more than one, up to four M-Audio Delta 1010 and 1010LT units can be installed to work together.M-Audio Delta audio interfaces are compatible with both Windows and Mac OS environments. On the Windows front, anything from 98SE to Win7 is supported. That includes both 32- and 64-bit versions. Use with Win8, Win10, and newer editions is possible through compatibility modes. Other than drivers, the only software requirement is DirectX 9.0c. Hardware requirements are a Pentium III 500 MHz and 128MB RAM. For Mac, anything from OS 9.2.2 to 10.5.1 is supported, and you’ll need either 256 or 512MB RAM depending on your configuration. Application support includes ASIO 2, DirectX MME, OMS, Sound Manager, and Core Audio/Core MIDI.This is a 10 by 10, full-duplex recording interface. It features 8 by 8 analog I/O on balanced/unbalanced TRS. You can use those outputs to drive up to 7.1 surround sound directly. It also has an S/PDIF digital I/O connection via coaxial with 2-channel PCM. Digital inputs and outputs support surround-encoded AC3 as well as DTS pass-through. It features internal DSP mixing and routing, and a word clock mechanism ensures device synchronization that’s sample-accurate.Mount your M-Audio Delta in a rack, or use it as a standalone like an external sound card. All converters have been superbly engineered using high-quality materials to ensure excellence in fidelity. Numerous ins, including monitoring without latency, allow for clean overdubs. Your outs can go to a mixing console or to directly drive sound. Analog outs let you monitor, and MIDI ins and outs give you the compatibility you need for most mixing software.All M-Audio Delta 1010s also include embedded 36-bit DSP, which enables code-driven routing for all I/O. All software monitoring is extremely fast and adds almost no latency. You also have access to a single, integrated control interface for settings. These settings include buffer sizes, clock rates, sample rates, signal levels, and so forth.Whether you’re delivering live music or preparing recordings, the Delta M-Audio 1010 audio system can meet that demand. This product is available in retail packaging, as a manufacturer-refurbished unit, and in pre-owned conditioned. Both retail and manufacturer-refurbished units come with an owner’s manual, the unit itself, the PCI card, a parallel cable, and a CD. Any necessary driver should be provided automatically upon attachment to a computer with Internet access.

    Excellent hardware.Did not like the software as it was useless for my needs

    The Delta1010LT is an amazing piece of recording equipment. I am not a big fan of digital recording interface devices but I have become one overnight since purchasing the Delta 1010LT. I am using mine primarily to transfer old multi track 4 and 8 track analog tape recordings to digital format for remastering and editing. All of my older recordings are in analog format. So with this card they can be transferred to wav or mp3, which is great. In fact, I can transfer all 8 individual tracks simultaneously with the Delta1010LT. The sound is amazing with this card.However, I want to mention something about the software. By default, mine came with Ableton live LITE version 6. Unfortunately, the serial had already been registered to the previous owner. So the software was useless.Ableton were ...

    Awesome quality for little money!

    This is an excellent interface for the amateur or professional engineer and/or musician. I have been in audio production for 15 years and this one is truly superb. I was using the E-Mu 1212m (v2) for the last few years, but even though the E-Mu has slightly better specs on the converters the quality that you are able to receive on the A/D and D/A conversion is not the same. This unit reproduces every nuance. I did some of my own tests and the noise level is typically around -130 dBFS at most frequencies. If you need a unit with 8 channels of in and out, this is the one. It also gives you S/PDIF and Word Clock as well. Keep in mind that if you use Word Clock or S/PDIF you will bypass the internal clock.     Built like a tank, not sounding like one

    Got this replace an older unit which was powered on for about 10 years. This one works well out of the box, wasn't scratched. Only downside is that I have to power it up after windows is fully booted (not a big deal) and sometimes some scratchyness at low volumes when it is still "cold", but overall I am very impressed for the quality considering these haven't been made for over 10 years.

    Transparent sound.. rememer to switch between 44.1K and 48K software

    I have 2 X 1010's in my system it took some head scratching to configure with Ableton 8... 1 to 8 and 13 to 20 channels active using a word clock BNC lead. 9 to 12 feedback? spdif inputs?? Transparent sound using external pre amps and decent mics. able to easily configure outputs into a desk
