Works good, but after the first 5-8 clicks though. Nothing happens on the first 5-8 clicks. Just gotta have patience. Bought 4 months ago , different buttons and now i have to click it more than 10 times to get them to work, but they work. Patience i guess.

    Pretty good for it’s purpose.

    I bought this because my OEM key fob had slowly been “breaking down”, so the lock/unlock range had gone down to less than 3 feet away from my 2013 Tacoma. I replaced the battery in the original fob, but no sauce. Figured it was a bad fob, so I found this which looked the part. The buttons on this fob are a little more “pressed in”, and you have to click a little bit harder on them than the original fob for the lock/unlock to work. I get a very good range with this new fob, plus the extra little bit of a button press needed for this fob works out great for me since my other keys would always hit the buttons on my fob while in pocket.

    Problems with the new units

    The lock and unlock buttons work part of the time. Not sure if it is the micro button or the soft rubber pad that is not making contact. Both key FOB are that way. The factory units lasted 10 plus years. These look like the same mfg, but not working as well. Disappointed.

    Great 3rd party design. Works well, seems reliable!

    First off, it works great. It locks and unlocks my car from my house which is the furthest I ever need it to work. It programmed perfectly, and seems to be reliable. It's obviously a clone. Not a genuine Toyota product. The plastic and rubber feel different, and the buttons are different. But it seems to be great value and works fine. I'd recommend it at this point.
