    great book

    This book was recommended me while staying in Ireland this summer so I was interested in reading it. It is a story about a small German boy during WW2 and his "understanding" the world around him. His family move from Berlin to new home next to camp and the only person possible to play with is the boy from the other side of the fence... Great reading, slightly different from film based on it, suitable for children as well as adults. The language is not very complicated because the 9-year boy is a narrator.
