Awesome car audio system!! the touch screen is very nice and works great. i love the color changes on the buttons and screen to match my dash color. It does charge the Ipod, the seller told me it dont but it does and that is a plus. I would rate this system as excellent but there is no bluetooth except for the other part you have to buy and connect and it is expensive just for Phone features. Video is crystal clear and easy to bypass for viewing while on the road (please dont do). I love this system and recommend to anyone with a dual din dash. Love the Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD best unit ever
You cannot beat this unit for the price does everything you need it to do. I watch videos listen to music and play slideshows of pictures. The unit supports divx right from any source. I download the videos right from YouTube and convert them using Divx Plus Converter at 720x405 resolution and the videos look great. Haven't tried a higher resolution yet, but I think the videos look HD at this resolution because its only a 7" screen. I have always loved Pioneer and have had many of their head units in the past. So far this is the best, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and for the price even better. I just installed in my 08 Accord and used the SWI-PS steering wheel interface to keep all the steering wheel buttons. It was a mat h made in heaven. Took a little work at first to get it ... Took a little work at first to get it to work, but it was my fault I connected it to the wrong wire on the factory harness, other than that it changes the source, channels/tracks, and does volume just like the factory radio. What I love more about this unit is all the settings it has and the ability to change the buttons to any color you want you really have the option of 112 different colors and can make your own custom colors too using the full color spectrum. The equalizers are great, alot of units have panoramic equalizers, meaning that when you change one band a coupl of other bands move with it, with this unit you can set your own frequencies one at a time to get the perfect sound you are looking for.

Great unit all around. Like it so much I got another
I've had this unit installed in our Camry for a few years now. Use it mostly for iPod control and paying my iPod. Works wonderfully! 8 band EQ is great! Puts out good clean signal. Very good control sound wise. Sonic center, front rear fade, high and low pass filters, level controls, etc. etc. Love this unit so much I went looking for another for my truck I just bought. Ended up getting the 4300 (next gen of this one) as it was a bit cheaper on eBay, but still basically the same. Only things I've found on it that are a negative is that you really want to be super careful to disconnect power before you remove any RCA connections on it. Pioneer are notorious for having the PICO fuse blow and this causes noise in your system if it does. You can get it replaced or some have grounded ... Only addition I wish it had was ability to adjust delay times.

Love how easy it is to imagine the sound with the unit. Very versatile with the options for music like; SD card, AUX, USB, CD. You'll however radio individual modules for HD radio, Sat. Radio options, Ipod connections and Navigation. Has six RCA outputs; two for fronts, two for rears and two for subs. All are operating at a solid 4v but reads through voltage meter at 2.5v with some R&B. Has input for a rear-view camera and an output for AV. Has a standard right, left and video for video games input as well. The 7" screen is something to smile about. Pioneer really did a nice job with how clean and nicely fitting the screen fits in double din cars. It folds out seamlessly, dropping done to the cd intake out down further to the SD card intake. awesome head unit!!! does it all!!
i love this pioneer head unit. the customization is nearly endless. the video quality is great and the sound is awesome. i have all pioneer speakers installed in my car right now, and that is why i decided to go with a pioneer head unit. the speakers and the head unit work wonderfully together. i also purchased the remote to go with the head unit and it is very easy to use and set up. all in all, i would recommend this head unit to anyone that wants a touch screen and very easy to use interface and tons of customization capabilities.i love this pioneer head unit. the customization is nearly endless. the video quality is great and the sound is awesome. i have all pioneer speakers installed in my car right now, and that is why i decided to go with a pioneer head unit. the speakers and the head unit work wonderfully together. i also purchased the remote to go with the head unit and it is very easy to use and set up. all in all, i would recommend this head unit to anyone that wants a touch screen and very easy to use interface and tons of customization capabilities.
