The description for Hi Low is a little confusion. Ultimately, the low beam is HID and the High Beam is halogen. Which really means the low beam is much brighter (with 8k bulbs) than the high beam. I have used these Xentec kits in 8 cars over the past 5+ years and have only had to replace one bulb and one igniter/ballast, so they work well.
