Bought this doorbell to replace my old Friedland Bell, which was very old and had stopped working.
It is a good solid product. However, I had to replace the battery from the door button after 2 days use. I think it must have been a dud battery. Replaced it and working well so far.

This purchase was a replacement for an earlier Friedland model which has performed well for several years, but which fell foul of the recent storms and the really heavy rain. Water ingress provided a slow death to the bell push button, so a replacement was required. The D3003S is similar but with added options and the push button looks far better protected than the older model. The unit was dispatched as promised and arrived within 48 hours. Good service.

Item arrived quickly and is as described in the original packaging. This is a replacement for Friedland wireless that just stopped working after many years of service. This is the nearest to the model I had before and works exactly the same. I have fitted the bell upright rather than sideways as per the instructions, which is how most people would fit it here. Hopefully it will last like the last one.
