Replace Missing SSD in Lenovo B590 as Shipped from Factory
The Lenovo B590 was shipped from the factory without the 16GB SSD, with only one (sub-par) antenna and wire, and with four missing internal screws. (Dual used antenna kit purchased and installed; it was of much higher quality and range.) There were no visible signs that any other tech had ever been inside this notebook. Apparently there were severe slipstream cost-cutting measures in the production line. This 16GB SSD fit and works perfectly, although it is of limited use with (linux) Full Disk Encryption because it is not available to the system until post-boot, where the cryptsetup open and mount /dev/mapper commands must be entered.
