Nice accessory but tricky to install
The Kuryakin fork brace is the same as the HD OEM model in my opinion. I almost returned this but after speaking to a Kuryakin rep I was able to install it. You need to tighten all four outside bolts gradually while keeping it square over the fender. There will be small gaps between the outside clamps and the center piece but the rep said that's ok. I used blue locktite on the outside bolts. Looks great and definitely feel a stiffer ride. My Dyna handles much better.The Kuryakin fork brace is the same as the HD OEM model in my opinion. Excellent piece of hardware.
Have used it on two of my FXDWG bikes. On a brand new 98 wide glide. I got through OSMSC that I rode the wheels off on the island of Okinawa. Works awesome. Really stabilizes the single disc brake wide glide front end. This brace allows you to ride a 41mm front end bike like a FXDXT. Found this bike on Craig's list with 1848 miles on her. Put a pic of each bike. Working on transforming the 20+ yr old virgin in to a updated copy of her sister. Who says you only live once. JRHave used it on two of my FXDWG bikes.
