The old switch kept popping up, and sometimes needed to be held in place. Clearly the original switch needed to be replaced, and this was a direct replacement, needing only to slip it into the panel, and plug in the wire connector. This took only a minute, and resolved the problem. And, the cost was much better than that of the original manufacturer, and most parts distributors.
