A good and reliable beard trimmer for everyday use
The Wahl 9916-1117 Beard Trimmer is very good product it does exactly what it says in the description. The battery life is perfectly acceptable, only had to charge it once so far and I'm using it most days, and the power is absolutely fine. The trimmer runs cordless and comes with a charger, so when the battery starts to die just plug in the charger. You can also use the trimmer anytime when it's plugged into the charger if you need to use it when the battery is low. Noise wise it's hardly deafening, about as loud as you'd expect a trimmer/shaver to be. The trimmer also comes with 3 combs, a beard comb, cleaning oil and a stand. This was purchased to replace one I have been using for 20 years.It seems to hold a charge for a good period of time and comes with a number of useful cutting guides. It has worked very well in the month or so that I have had it. Downside, the comb that comes with it is not a lo of good being far to small and the batteries are built in, I have had to replace the ones on my old machine a few times in the 20 years of use, therefore this unit may have a limited life.This was purchased to replace one I have been using for 20 years.It seems to hold a charge for a good period of time and comes with a number of useful cutting guides. Brilliant tool but be careful in use
I bought the trimmer because I was fed up with having to trim my beard with scissors and I thought that I could do a better job with the proper kit. The actual trimmer is wonderful,you get everything you need to keep it in good working order and it makes keeping the moustache trimmed very easy. The unit fits your hand very nicely but I found that fitting the heads on it a bit fiddly but once on very good. If there was one thing that I would say it is be careful when you first use it. When I used mine for the first time I found getting the angle of cut right,very hard,and I finished up with a VERY short beard.I bought the trimmer because I was fed up with having to trim my beard with scissors and I thought that I could do a better job with the proper kit. Having regrown a beard after many years I looked at beard trimmers for neatness. The product looked just what i required and was sleek and had many features. On arrival it has proved a very handy tool indeed and I have now got used to using it every other day. The product is light and easy to handle as are the attachments.
