Avoid Gen 2 known design issues
I recommend that you avoid Gen 2 versions of these breakers. I installed 32 of these Eaton Dual AFCI/GFCI breakers in 2018. All were "Gen 2" versions. Since then ten have failed with various faults. Several have failed with a blink code of "Self Test Failure" (6-blinks). When this happens the breaker will trip off every day or two when it decides to test itself even if there is no load on the branch circuit. This is a problem if you are away from home and the circuit is a refrigerator or other critical item. Several other breakers started experiencing nuisance trips indicating GFCI was the cause. I know this was a failed breaker because replacing the breaker eliminated the nuisance trips offs. One breaker simply had the LED indicator illuminated all the time. Even though Eaton ... I recommend you only purchase Gen 6 (or later if newer versions become available).

so far so good (worried about Bosch dishwasher relay arcing.
So far no false trips. I was worried about the heater relay in my Bosch dishwasher (after I re-soldered a terminal), so I purchased this breaker in hopes that if the relay points were the problem, and arc and get too hot, the breaker will trip.
