Grandma fixed the computer with a new hard drive
I did not expedite the hard drive but still was able to have it in a reasonable time frame. My grown children laughed when they heard I spent money to replace a hard drive in their father's computer....I have absolutely NO training or knowledge of such things. I took the old hard drive out....googled the part # and found the exact part. Guess what??? It was exactly the part needed and the computer is up and running perfectly!!! Yeh! Best for its money
Excellent Drive. Is perfect for those who do not need a lot of space. The price is cheap enough according to todays price. It is also quick enough more than 5400 rpm show. Using them in HP laptop under Windows 7 and still no problem shows up. Overall, I am very happy eith my choice

solid and dependable, as usual with hitachi drives.
i have come to expect high quality from travelstar drives. not the fastest, but good solid performance. i was not disappointed. installed it, partitioned it, formatted it, and installed OS without a problem. running fine, and i expect the kids are giving it a real workout.
