      Perfect fit; easy installation

      This was an exact fit for my 2003 Toyota 4Runner driver's door check stop. I was able to install it myself in about 20 minutes (I am not mechanically inclined). My door now opens in a controlled manner, checks the opening 1/2 way, and closes smoothly as well. FYI (as the pictures indicate), it does not come with the nuts for tightening the two attached bolts/prongs (I think they were 1/4 sized). Also, it also doesn't come with the bolt to go into the frame of the vehicle (which most likely will already be in your 4Runner). Exceptional value and precise fit.

      Do it yourself and save money!

      Genuine OEM door check (driver’s side). Mine was making two loud pops when opening door and upon close inspection broken in two places. You will have to remove door trim and speaker to get access. Search YouTube for instructions on removing door trim. For speaker, unscrew 4 bolts, then push speaker up (it took a lot of force). Once it becomes loose pull it out.
